Use Of Images. When hiring Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth the hirer gives permission for images taken at your event to be used for promotional, advertising & Social Media Sharing - Print & Digital. If, for any reason you do not wish for your photos to be used for promotional and advertising purposes you need to let Jimbo know before the event. If you would like your image removed from the website or social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) please let Jimbo know immediately.
How long has Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth been operating for? Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth has been operating in Melbourne since 2010. Jimbo built his first photobooth himself and quit his job as an events photographer at the beginning of 2011 to work full time on Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth. The original photobooth Jimbo built, retired in 2014 and Jimbo purchased a new booth with an SLR camera for better quality images. Jimbo has been updating photobooths every few years to keep up to date with today's technology and trends.
How do I hire Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth? A $220 deposit is required to lock in the date of your event. Once deposit has been paid Jimbo will email a confirmation letter. If you have not received a confirmation letter after a week of paying the deposit, please contact Jimbo immediately. Deposit is non refundable. Please only book the photobooth if you are certain the event is going ahead. If the event is cancelled for any reason and the deposit has been paid. It can be used for your next booking. The remaining amount can be paid before the event or on the night. Due to a few bad eggs, failing to pay on time will result in additional fees for chasing payment.
How far does Jimbo travel & Is there a delivery fee? There is no delivery fee within Melbourne Metropolitan Area. If Jimbo is required to travel outside of Melbourne, there is a $55 travel fee. Any events one hour out of Melbourne may be considered.
How does delivery, setting up and packing up work? Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth will be delivered and set up one hour prior to booking. There is no charge for Delivery within Melbourne and no charge for Setting up one hour before the event. If the photobooth is required to be set up earlier in the day, a $50 fee applies. Idle time applies from the time the photobooth is set up at the beginning of the event till the Photobooth package start time commences. Idle time is $25 an hour. Jimbo or an assistant will stay and assist throughout the night. Packing up will commence once the Photobooth package has ended. Packing up will take place even if the event is still going ahead. All effort will be made, not to interrupt the event while packing up the photobooth.
What Venue must Parking be paid for? Any events at Dockland Central Pier requires a complimentary parking spot or parking to be paid by the organizer. (this needs to be agreed upon before deposit is paid).
How much space does the photobooth require? The photobooth requires a minimum space of 2.5m x 2.5m. This will allow enough room for the backdrop, photrobooth and table for props.
Does Jimbo supply backdrops? Yes. Please go to the backdrop page to see whats available.
What does Jimbo recommend? If possible, please make sure a bar table is provided for guests to place their drinks. No Drinks are allowed on prop table or on Photobooth.
Can I use Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth outdoors? Jimbo would prefer all events to be indoors or undercover. Jimbo may consider outdoor events.
What if the event is being held upstairs? There is an additional fee of $30 for events upstairs and no lift. Jimbo needs to know before the event if there is a flight of stairs at the venue and no lift. If Jimbo is not informed about stairs/staircases you risk not having a booth on the night. Does not apply to Gif Booth.
Can Jimbo create a custom design? Yes. There is no charge for designing a custom design. Email Jimbo your logo or graphics and Jimbo will put together a sample for you.
What do you receive? On the night of the event you receive unlimited photos for the requested photobooth package. Jimbo or an attendant to supervise the photobooth, use of crazy props. After the event Jimbo will send a link to the Online Password Protected Gallery with all the digital files. the link will also allow you to download the images in bulk. Photos can be uploaded on Jimbo's Facebook page, if requested.
Does Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth print in Colour and Black & White? You can choose to have photos printed in colour or black and white by the push of a button on the screen. There is now a new POP Filter included with the Photobooth.
What do you get with the Wedding Packages? Both Wedding Packages include the following. The photobooth prints two photo strips, one for the guests to keep and the other to stick into the guestbook for guests to write wishes. The guestbook is a black dry mount album with black pages and a black presentation box. It can be written on with gold and silver pens, supplied by Jimbo. Jimbo also supplies sticky tabs to stick in photo strips. Wedding Package goes for 5 hours, Wedding Package II goes the entire reception. Only available for Weddings at a Reception Center. Other events may be considered. Jimbo sets up before guests arrive. A table for the guestbook is required from the venue. Jimbo supplies his own table for props.
Does Jimbo require a meal? Jimbo does not request a meal but if you would like to supply a meal that would be AMAZING. Please note Jimbo is a vegetarian. Also, Jimbo may sneak in a beer. But don't tell anyone!
Does Jimbo supply props? Jimbo's Amazing Photobooth supplies plenty of props to keep guests entertained during the event, at no extra cost. Please note, any props stolen or damaged, especially signs and latex masks need to be paid for or replaced. Props will also be packed up and taken away if guests continually throw them around or damage them.
